Suitable Age Group: 5.5 to 6.5 years

Duration: One week

Learning Outcomes for the Learner: Students will be able to

• Name various 2D and 3D shapes
• Sort 2D and 3D shapes into different groups
• Identify different shapes in daily objects
• Identify shapes contained within structures and objects
• Construct structures and objects using simple shapes
• Distinguish between various 2D shapes (square and rectangle, oval and circle) and 3D shapes (cube and cuboid)
• Understand the different types of polygons
• Create shapes using tangrams and/or geo-boards

In addition,

• They would also have an exposure to Paper origami, storytelling, tangram and geoboard.  Since all our modules have integrated approach to learning, the learners will learn much more than just this.
